British appliance company starts to include almost the entire Delta Power Electronics product portfolio in their existing and potential business opportunities
In 2013 a well-known, innovative and high end British appliance manufacturer started to implement their new expansion strategy. In order to reach their goal to almost triple their revenue until 2020 they improved and extend all aspects of their supply chain. Part of their new strategy was to find new electronic suppliers, which are able to offer them a variety of high quality power electronics components and modules from a single source. Thus, they could purchase multiple product ranges with one point of contact to ensure a more efficient communication and process.
At the same time in 2013 the Delta Power Electronics EMEA team consolidated their product sales divisions. Since then sales managers of the Delta Power Electronics team have the knowledge to promote and handle the entire Delta Power Electronics portfolio in addition to their own focused products. The customer can buy all the Power Electronics products such as electronic components, conversion modules, controls, power supplies, power adaptors and cooling modules from one point of contact within the Delta organisation.
After first meetings the appliance customer and Delta quickly realized that in terms of product range, quality requirements and organisational structure they were the right match. Consequently, both parties agreed on a partnership. Engineering workshops were held, several future roadmaps were matched together and Delta products were customised for an innovative long term relationship. Since 2015 Delta supplies the appliance customer with high end precision chokes and high efficiency power supply units for their premium humidifier. Already by end of 2015, further projects were initiated to supply the appliance company with solenoids, fans and higher power efficiency charging devices for future innovations. In the first half of 2016 the appliance customer is about to develop and launch over ten new projects together with Delta. In the future many more projects are about to be launched for their floor care product innovations in the foreseeable future.
The customer is satisfied with Delta’s high level of product quality, their innovative wide product portfolio and their organisational structure, being able to handle all Power Electronic products by one point of contact within Delta organisation.
