Delta’s Diversified Set of Smart Energy-Saving Solutions for Buildings, Factories, Telecom Sites, Datacentres and Green Power Plants Lands at Middle East Electricity 2017

Dubai, U.A.E., February 14, 2017
Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, announced today its highly diversified spectrum of smart, green products and solutions, capable of facilitating significant energy savings in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, is present at Middle East Electricity (MEE) 2017. The portfolio will feature innovative technologies boasting leading energy efficiency, such as telecom power with up to 98%, solar PV inverters with up to 98.8% and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) over 96%, as well as total solutions, including Delta’s Building Management & Control System (BMCS), an intelligent platform to enable energy efficiency in buildings, and the Smart Factory and Cloud Solution, for real-time and comprehensive supervision of industrial facilities.

Major highlights at Delta’s Hall 3, Stand G10 exhibition include:

- Building Automation Solutions: Delta’s BMCS, an all-in-one platform to enable intelligent, eco-friendly and highly efficient thorough management of buildings and their respective underlying sub-systems, including HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), lighting, security, power generation, etc., is an integral part of our portfolio at MEE 2017. BMCS’ uniqueness lies in its compatibility to all international communication protocols installed in buildings (BACnet, Modbus, EnOcean, LON, M-Bus, KNX, OPC, DALI).

- Industrial Automation Solutions: For customers interested in the smart manufacturing concept of realizing real-time monitoring and remote control of their own production facilities, our Smart Factory and Cloud Solution is a profoundly effective option. Critical information from various layers of the production process is retrieved from PLCs and other industrial devices by Delta’s Industrial 3G Cloud Routers DX-2100 series and sent to the DIACloud internet cloud service system to even allow for customer-centric production practices for enhanced productivity.

A live demo of Delta’s CFP2000 series AC Motor Drive, an IP55-rated waterproof drive specifically designed to bring the highest standards of reliability and efficiency in pumps and fans in HVAC applications, is also showcased at Delta’s booth.

- Telecom Power Solutions: Our DPR 3000E-48 series telecom rectifiers, featuring leading efficiency of up to 98%, and our outdoor system LENI series, featuring hybrid cooling options and compatibility with renewable energy sources, are living testaments of Delta’s leadership in energy savings for the telecommunications industry. Visitors will experience our extensive track record in implementing energy-efficient telecom power infrastructure beyond Europe and throughout the Middle East and Africa. Visitors will also have access to Delta’s 2016 iF Design Award-winning Golden Eagle small cell, commonly capable of enabling up to 20% energy savings as well as meaningful space savings for our telecom customers through its energy conversion efficiency of 96% and power density of 5.3W/in3 features respectively.

- UPS Systems: Delta has also built a remarkable track record in supporting data centres and other applications in the Middle East and Africa with its UPS technology. Success stories include a major airline in Turkey and a leading telecom carrier in Saudi Arabia. Our showcase at MEE 2017 includes the modular UPS Modulon DPH 75kW series and the mono-block UPS Ultron HPH series. The former offers fully rated power (kVA=kW) with low harmonic distortion (iTHD<3%) for excellent power quality and hot-swappable power modules to ensure a Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) close to zero while the latter features a three-level IGBT topology, 96% AC-AC efficiency (99% eff. in ECO mode), as well as fully-rated power.

- Solar PV Inverters: By leveraging its core competence in high-efficiency power electronics, Delta offers an extensive line of highly efficient and reliable string solar PV inverters, currently supporting utility-scale, commercial and residential installations in the Middle East and Africa, such as the Omburu Solar PV Park, one of the largest PV power plants in Namibia with 4.5MW capacity. Delta’s M88H series PV inverters boast not only superior performance with up to 98.8% conversion efficiency and 80kVA power output (max. apparent power of up to 88kVA at 480Vac) but also a highly durable IP65-rated aluminium casing. Smaller models, offering 30kW and 10kW power output, are exhibited as well this year.
- LED Lighting: An ample set of industrial and commercial applications can achieve palpable energy savings by implementing Delta’s high-efficiency LED lighting solutions. Among those presented at this fair, our Staccato series High Bay LED luminaires offer leading efficiency and a robust design with IP66 and IK10 ratings for dust and moisture protection. Staccato’s unique feature is a constant light output from -40°C up to +60°C, making it the ideal LED High Bay solution for challenging environments.

Other advanced green technologies will complement Delta’s offering at MEE 2017. These include state-of-the-art standard industrial power supplies and thermal management technology (industrial air conditioning and heat exchange modules) for industrial applications as well as Innergie, a brand of Delta focused on reliable and handy portable consumer power devices.

Middle East Electricity 2017, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from February 14 to 16, is one of the most influential industrial fairs in the entire region. Delta’s exhibition is located at Hall 3, Stand G10. Welcome!
