Delta introduces the VP3000 Series: a new generation of drives for the fluid industry

Helmond, The Netherlands – Delta is pleased to announce the launch of the VP3000 Series, a new generation of drives for the fluid industry. The latest addition to Delta’s current frequency drive portfolio, the Delta VP3000 Series features excellent drive capabilities and stability, and provides a predictive maintenance (PdM) function for key components. It also offers an upgrade for lower harmonic improvement. The Delta VP3000 Series has been developed for wholesalers, distribution channels and larger system integrators, as well as HVAC manufacturers.

The VP3000 Series’ compact design, light weight and built-in EMC filters (C3 or C2), makes it especially well-suited to variable torque equipment such as blowers, pumps, HVAC, water treatment and supply systems, compressors and more. It offers power ranges from 0.75 to 630 kW for various applications, while the higher-power models are in a chassis designed to ensure effective space utilisation and simplified maintenance.

• Lower harmonic distortion: To protect process integrity and uptime, the VP3000 Series exceeds the EN 61000-3-12 standard, and its harmonics reach a minimum of 35%.
• Compact yet feature-packed: As well as its compact size, the VP3000 Series meets STO Sil3 conformity, offers enhanced PCB Coating, a built in PLC and a built in EMC filter. Users also benefit from an Automatic Energy Saving (AES) Mode dedicated to IM Motors, PdM, Fan Traction Energy Control (TEC) and a multi pump.
• Tailored to the users’ needs: With its optional LCD graphic keypad with Bluetooth and amp, a USB for remote control and an easy-to-use setup wizard, the VP3000 Series can be set up - and made operational - quickly.
• Detailed dashboard: Thanks to is Parameter settings, Parameter backup, Warning/Error logging, I/O status, Waveform monitoring and Reports, users are kept informed of the VP3000 Series’ operating status at all times.
