Smart Energy Solutions Take the Spotlight at Solar & Storage LIVE Zurich 2025
Delta participated as an exhibitor at the second edition of Solar & Storage Zurich, one of Switzerland’s key events for the growing solar and energy storage sector. With more than 3,000 visitors and a strong focus on innovation, the exhibition highlighted the dynamic development of the Swiss PV and ESS market. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase Delta’s strengths, reconnect with partners, and thank our visitors and customers for the valuable discussions and interest in Delta’s smart energy solutions.
A Rapidly Growing Market
Switzerland is experiencing an accelerated adoption of solar and storage technologies, driven by ambitious renewable targets, high electricity prices, and strong public support for clean energy. The Swiss solar market, valued at USD 2.4 billion in 2023, is expected to more than double by 2032 and cover around 14% of national electricity consumption by 2025.
Meanwhile, the storage sector is booming—nearly every second new residential PV system now includes a battery, with installations nearly doubling each year. Battery prices have dropped to around USD 115/kWh, making energy storage increasingly accessible for both homes and businesses.
Innovation for Swiss Grid Requirements
At our booth, Delta presented the latest generation of PV inverters, including the M15/20/30A Flex and M50/70/100A Flex. These models address Switzerland’s unique ripple control signal requirements by allowing precise software tuning that filters unwanted harmonics without affecting grid communication. This innovation simplifies installation, ensures full compliance, and demonstrates Delta’s commitment to local adaptation.
Advancing Energy Independence
Delta also showcased the new C Series Energy Storage System, which drew strong attention as a future-ready solution supporting grid stability and self-sufficiency. Together, Delta’s PV and ESS portfolio highlight our comprehensive, one-stop approach to reliable, integrated, and sustainable energy solutions.
Supporting Circular Energy
In Switzerland, every ESS must include a battery recycling contribution fee—for example, CHF 3.00 per kg for LFP batteries—ensuring responsible recycling and a sustainable market framework.
