Delta has broadened its reforestation initiatives within Germany through a tree-planting event conducted on 6 October 2025 in Wächtersbach. This effort is part of the company’s five-year partnership with PLANT-MY-TREE® to contribute 1,000 trees annually nationwide. Now in its third year, the Delta Forest program persists in exemplifying Delta’s dedication to supporting local ecosystems through tangible, measurable actions.
This year’s event marked the first-ever participation of colleagues from Delta’s Frankfurt office. Prior activities were carried out by teams from the Soest and Teningen locations, and the inclusion of a third site signifies the growing reach and momentum of the initiative. Delta intends to further expand participation across additional offices in future years, while continuing to raise awareness of the long-term benefits of forest regeneration.
Despite persistent rain and challenging terrain during the event, participants planted each Douglas fir sapling with care and in line with conservation best practices. Through these collective efforts, a total of 300 saplings were planted, and these will be monitored and maintained by PLANT-MY-TREE® to ensure healthy growth and lasting ecological benefit as part of the ongoing collaboration.
Since the start of the Delta Forest program, it has facilitated the planting of 3,000 trees across various sites in Germany, thereby contributing to biodiversity conservation and the restoration of native woodland landscapes. The initiative has also fostered a culture of environmental responsibility within the organization by actively engaging employees in sustainability-oriented actions.
Delta extends its gratitude to all colleagues who supported the Wächtersbach initiative. With the Frankfurt office now participating, additional activities are planned as Delta continues to invest in reforestation across other regions.
