For over 14 years, Elyor Group has played a pivotal role in helping organizations transition to renewable energy. Recognized as an experienced developer, designer, and builder of solar photovoltaic projects, the company has successfully completed more than 1,500 installations across France in sectors such as agriculture, industry, tertiary, and sports. Its highly modular and adaptable approach to solar-integrated buildings, combined with expertise in development, construction, sales, and innovative financing models, has firmly established its leadership in the French solar market.
A Strategic Alliance Delivering Over 10 MW Nationwide
As a fast-growing EPC company seeking to expand across multiple countries, Elyor Group required a solar inverter partner capable of supporting its long-term growth. The ideal partner needed to combine global and local capabilities, offer a comprehensive range of compliant, high-performance inverters, and provide reliable technical support for investor-backed projects ranging from commercial rooftops to large-scale developments.
Elyor Group also required inverter solutions with high efficiency, robust reliability, and a compact footprint adaptable to complex site layouts — backed by responsive technical support and guaranteed long-term spare part availability. Above all, it sought a dependable partner capable of scaling with demand.
After a detailed market analysis, Elyor Group identified Delta as the partner best suited to meet both its technical and strategic criteria. The collaboration began in 2014 with the purchase of Delta’s cutting-edge 50 kW inverters. What started as a single order evolved into a long-term partnership, resulting in more than 10 MW of installed capacity across France — including Morbihan, Mayenne, Vendée, and Gers. These projects span commercial rooftops to large agricultural installations, with Delta providing consistent support throughout.
Elyor Group recognized Delta as one of the few inverter manufacturers offering a robust, scalable, and field-proven solution capable of meeting diverse technical and operational demands. Delta’s established presence in renewable energy across the EMEA region further reinforced the partnership.
From a technical standpoint, Delta’s inverters quickly proved their worth — praised for their compact design, installation flexibility, and resilient performance under harsh outdoor conditions. They have demonstrated long-term durability and reliability, ensuring stable and worry-free operation even in challenging environments.
Showcasing Innovation in Agri-Solar: The Aimargues Greenhouse Project
At the heart of this collaboration lies a flagship initiative: the Aimargues Solar Greenhouse Project in southern France, led by Elyor Group and powered by Delta’s M50A Flex inverter.
The M50A Flex — a transformer less three-phase string inverter designed for large commercial rooftop and agricultural applications — combines compactness (64 kg), quiet operation (65 dB(A)), and peak efficiency of 98.7%. With six MPP trackers, a 55 kVA maximum output, and IP66-rated protection, it ensures reliable performance in demanding environments.
The Aimargues site will ultimately feature 29 solar greenhouses, each equipped with two M50A Flex inverters. Several structures and electrical cabinets have already been commissioned, with full buildout to significantly increase total solar capacity. This project stands as a showcase of Elyor Group’s dedication to expanding solar solutions in agriculture and its commitment to sustainable infrastructure development.
Building Success on Human Values
While technology provides the foundation, it is people who bring projects to life. Mutual trust, transparency, and respect underpin every successful partnership — values that have defined the Delta–Elyor relationship from the start.
The partnership’s origins are emblematic: the first agreement between the two companies was sealed not by an extensive contract, but with a simple handshake — a testament to Delta’s integrity and human approach to business.
Reflecting on this, Maurice Chekroun, CEO of Elyor Group, explains:
“What sets Delta apart is, above all, the people. For me, it’s about human values — people are at the heart of everything. It’s the relationship that matters. It’s people who make the company, not the other way around. There’s a very precious human connection within the group.”
Echoing this sentiment, Andreas Hoischen, Senior Director of the Inverter Power Segment Business Unit at Delta EMEA, adds:
“Since 2014, we’ve witnessed significant growth and transformation in the French solar market – from emerging large-scale rooftop projects to complex agri-solar integrations. Our collaboration with Elyor has evolved in parallel, driven by a shared commitment to quality, reliability, and long-term value creation. This partnership goes far beyond the products – it’s built on mutual trust, aligned values, and close collaboration at every level.”
As demonstrated through this decade-long collaboration, Delta continues to be a trusted and established partner for organizations developing renewable energy projects across Europe — delivering value through high-quality products, dependable service, and enduring human relationships built on trust.
